You and your loved one can elope and have your intimate wedding at the Danish islands of the South Sea (Yes, yes – that’s what they are called. In fact, this is the southernmost part of Denmark, the islands located in the Baltic Sea). The name sounds like a dream, as well as the nature here: white slope beaches, brightly colored houses and very friendly people are all waiting for you on these bridal islands!

Nordic Islands for Your Wedding

Please allow me the pleasure of introducing you to the captivating and unforgettable Danish islands for destination weddings:  Lolland- Falster, Møn and Bornholm.

Lolland-Falster

Lolland-Falster islands are a picturesque combination of green plains and hills intertwined with the water surface. Lolland-Falster is one big island nation, with distinct cities, a cozy atmosphere, and smaller but nonetheless unique experiences waiting all year around.

Møn

Here is a natural wonder of Denmark - the chalk cliffs of Møns Klint. The snow-white cliffs are the steepest and highest in the country, make an unforgettable impression, and , more than 20 species of beautiful orchids grow on the island.

Happily embracing each other, these newlyweds are enjoying their perfect wedding abroad on Hammershus Ruins on Bornholm Island, one of the most beautiful places to get married in Denmark.

Bornholm

The most beautiful island not only in Denmark, but in the entire Baltic. Cut off from the mainland by sea waters, Bornholm has a completely unique atmosphere. It has beautiful white sand beaches in the south and rugged cliffs and unspoiled nature in the north.

DENMARK: YOUR MARRIAGE AND ISLAND WEDDING DESTINATION

Did you know that Denmark is a country with over 400 islands? If we could give it a nickname, it would be Marriage Island because couples from all over the world are coming here for their Nordic wedding.

Denmark is also a country with a rich thousand-year history, the green pearl of Scandinavia, the birthplace of Lego and the storyteller Hans Christian Andersen, even the birthplace of Shakespeare’s Hamlet and the legendary Vikings.

You will also be pleasantly surprised by the Danish climate. Even in January, the temperature here rarely drops below zero, and sunny weather adds charm to the fabulous views of cities, inviting you to go for a walk immediately. Our Bornholm Island, known as Hawaii among the locals, is also the sunniest part of Denmark.

You won’t want to leave Denmark, because there are still so many amazing discoveries and mysteries to explore, but let you be excited by the idea that there are still many real miracles and adventures ahead.
