Lipsa and Manik chose idyllic Aldershvile Castle Pavilion for their romantic elopement wedding in Denmark and booked it through our romantic location wedding package that see’s us take care of all the boring admin, allowing Lipsa and Manik to enjoy planning the more fun aspects of their Danish wedding adventure.
Lipsa and Manik couldn’t have chosen a more romantic setting. The idyllic Aldershvile Castle Pavilion sits just 12km north west of Copenhagen and is the perfect setting for a romantic elopement. Located in the beautiful Aldershvile Castle Park, with its large lawns, canals and bridges, the original castle built in 1790 burned to the ground in 1909, leaving just some ruins.
The pavilion was built later and is an impressive building with beautiful interiors and majestic steps that lead right down to serene Bagsværd Lake. For almost 100 years, it has formed the setting for one of Denmark's most romantic gathering places.
Beautiful Elopement wedding at Aldershvile Castle Pavilion
Lipsa looked amazing in a beautiful flowing dress with floaty chiffon and intricate flower embroidery. It was perfect for this romantic setting. Manik looked very smart in a blue three-piece suit with a pink tie that perfectly co-ordinated with Lipsa’s dress.
The wedding ceremony was held in one of the pavilions elegant function suites, with its white walls and period features, it was so photogenic.
After the ceremony, Lipsa and Manik celebrated with champagne before embarking on a stroll with one of our adventure wedding photographers. After touring the pavilion and capturing some gorgeous images internally (we love the checkerboard floor, feature arch windows and dramatic staircase) they headed outside and down to the shore of Bagsvaerd Lake.
At one point, there was a little rain but it did nothing to dampen anybody’s spirits. We always come prepared and gave Lipsa and Manik an umbrella, Lipsa put a jacket over shoulders, and we carried on.
We really enjoyed creating the perfect Danish elopement wedding for Lipsa and Manik. If like them, you think an elopement wedding in Denmark could be for you then why not get in touch.
