Ploy and Peter’s wedding
Ploy is from Thailand and Peter from the USA so they livestreamed their wedding ceremony to family and friends abroad.
Though they did bring two lucky wedding guests with them on their wedding adventure.
Ploy and Peter chose the beautiful and scenic Maribo Lakes for their romantic elopement wedding abroad and it was the perfect choice. The lakes are made up of four island dotted lakes surrounded by fields, meadows, bogs and woodland. So, make a romantic location for an outdoor wedding in Denmark. In addition to that, Maribo Lakes are a magnet for wildlife and are of great ecological and geological importance. They also have a rich cultural history so are also dotted with historically rich buildings and monuments.
Romantic elopement weddings at Maribo Lakes
Ploy looked amazing in her gold dress that had the most gorgeous sleeves. The dress was teamed with simple grey sandals and an elegant bouquet of white flowers and green foliage. Ploy pitched her outfit so perfectly for an outdoor wedding in Denmark and I loved that her female guest’s dress perfectly complimented it. Ladies, you were stunning.
Peter looked resplendent in a very stylish blue subtle tweed suit with brown brogues and a bow tie which perfectly matched Ploy and the style of their Maribo Lake wedding. His male guest was also smartly suited and had a gold tie to match the ladies dresses. I don’t know who was head of wardrobe for this wedding but they nailed it. These guys all looked amazing.
The romantic and personal outdoor wedding ceremony was held at the lakeside and was toasted straight away with champagne. Our adventure wedding photographer had so much fun with these guys. They were really up for a photoshoot around Maribo Lakes and we especially liked the images of Ploy and Peter in front of Maribo’s 600-year-old gothic cathedral. Here, take a look!
We also headed into Maribo town for a fun stroll through the cobbled streets and half-timbered medieval houses painted in bright colours, that made a colourful backdrop in our images. Here, take a look!
