Anika and Grant are an American couple living in Germany. They chose to get married on the beautiful island of Bornholm.

Anika and Grant chose to hold their wedding ceremony at Hammershus Castle ruins. This impressive medieval fortress has a rich and colorful history and as it sits at the northern tip of Bornholm it enjoys spectacular views of the beautiful Baltic Sea and the lush green vegetation below.

Strictly speaking this was an elopement for two, but this pair brought their adorable dog with them who had made a big effort for the occasion by wearing a gorgeous flower garland on his collar.
Anika looked gorgeous in a lace vintage style dress with small pink flowers embroidered on which she complimented with a pretty flower garland on her head. Grant wore a quirky waist coat and cap. I loved this pair’s laidback style. They pitched it perfectly for a boho wedding outdoors and their unrestrictive clothes meant they could really enjoy their wedding adventure.
The wedding ceremony took place in the castle ruins with the vast blue of the Baltic Sea as a backdrop. And afterwards Anika and Grant celebrated with champagne.

Then they headed out for a walk with Justine - our adventure wedding photographer- to do a photoshoot around this beautiful area. Anika and Grant were really fun to work with and really embraced the wedding adventure and this resulted in some really lovely authentic images that we know they’re thrilled with.
