Giulia and Moreno, a fun couple from Italy, chose a romantic elopement wedding in Denmark.Their all-inclusive 2-day luxury wedding adventure was booked through our Hide away forest elopement package and included everything they needed for a lovely bohemian forest wedding.
And their adventure started at the airport where they were picked up and whisked away to a forest situated just 40 minutes from Copenhagen.
Giulia and Moreno stayed in a spectacular luxury tree house that stands 6 metres off the ground and is surrounded by a canopy of trees.
The luxurious house is Scandinavian in style and has a glass walls and roof that allowed Giulia and Moreno to fully appreciates its stunning location.
We just loved Giulia’s dress, it was a soft pink colour with a swishy skirt to the knee, and wonderful feature puffy sleeves. It’s square neckline perfectly showed off Giulia’s tattoos. It was just so her. She teamed it with a white biker’s jacket, a pretty flower garland on her head and some comfy white converse trainer boots. She looked amazing and delighted our adventure wedding photographer by smiling all day long.
Beautiful forest weddings in Denmark
Moreno had also made a big effort too and looked chic in a smart suit that he wore with a bow tie and a lovely tweed jacket. The pair of them looked so comfortable and so themselves that it really bought something extra to the wedding photos. We don’t know if they were going for a boho retro chic look but they definitely pulled it off!
On the day of the wedding, the weather was a bit rainy but it did nothing to dampen Giulia and Moreno’s spirits. The wedding ceremony took place in a small clearing in the forest by a traditional wooden hut. Nature needs no adornment so we just made a small bonfire for warmth and a feeling of hygge, and lit some candles in vintage glass holders. It was wonderfully rustic.
After a lovely ceremony, Giulia and Moreno celebrated with a bottle of champagne before embarking on a photoshoot with one of our talented adventure wedding photographers. It was still raining, and as we are ever prepared, we gave them some transparent umbrellas and just carried on.

We loved the images we got of them walking along the empty road with the fields of wild flowers either side of them with the moody skies making a dramatic backdrop. And the images of them embracing by the flowering bushes. Here, take a look!
On the day we were on hand to ensure everything ran smoothly so Giulia and Moreno could just enjoy one another’s company at their rustic, boho island wedding for two. And they did just that!
